Meow Meow meets the Traffic Wardens

Post-post-modern diva Meow Meow has hypnotised, inspired, and terrified audiences globally with unique creations and sell-out seasons from New York’s Lincoln Center and Berlin’s Bar Jeder Vernunft to London’s West End and the Sydney Opera House.

On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June Meow Meow and her Sleepless Beauties – acclaimed musician, composer and producer Jherek Bischoff, sound designer and composer Jethro Woodward, and award-winning designer Andrea Lauer – present a unique and glorious FREE event along Liverpool’s iconic Hope Street and The Oratory at Liverpool Cathedral.

Setting off from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral at 9.30am on 10 June, it involves musicians and traffic wardens, with a little help from The Kazimier, culminating in an uplifting performance outside The Oratory.

A thought-provoking visual and sonic installation, Rita Dreaming, takes place inside The Oratory from 11.30am – 6pm on 10 June, with some surprise appearances and apparitions.

The weekend culminates on the evening of Sunday 11 June with Rita Requiem, a reflection on the preciousness of time, taking place in St James Gardens below Liverpool Cathedral.
